If you could get someone in your life to start a blog, who would it be and why?
My husband. I put so much of my life into a blog, or online journal, and I wish he could or would read it. I often times put it down in electronic format, but neglect to tell him. If he would just start blogging, I think he would see just a little bit more of me than he is able to right now.
After a few stumbles, I finished the cloth I have been working on in the wee hours for the past couple of nights. It's a pattern from Knitting Knonsense called the DW Darrell Waltrip cloth.
I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I'm more pleased that I was able to go back and correct mistakes without completely getting frustrated and without having to rip it all out and start again. I'm also really happy that I can bind-off now without as much of a problem. I even caught myself sitting in the rocking chair a time or two rocking and knitting. How old lady is that?
I also managed to get pictures of my unfinished Star cloth. I ran out of yarn before I could finish. I really like how it turned out, as well. As soon as I took my pictures, I went in and ripped it all out. I'm glad I did it like that, because otherwise I wouldn't have had the heart to do it. It would have been sitting around the house forever unfinished.
Now for something completely different: vox takes some getting used to. I swear I have been at this tiny little entry for 20 minutes or more trying to get the layout right. I'm sure I don't have it as perfect as I would like it. And the part that frustrates me the most is not being able to preview my post before saving it. I'm about ready to tear my hair out.

What or who is your favorite product mascot? Why?
Most definitely the Geico gecko. I could do without the accent when he talks, but geckos are just too cute.
Ok, I'll admit it. I'm a sheep. Baa!
Knitting, knitting, knitting again! I had put away my knitting for a while because I had a dishcloth on my needles that was thisclose to being finished. I was about a third of the way to binding it off when I ran out of yarn. It is really neat, too. It has a star on it. I had used a bright yellow cotton yarn for it. So proud of myself. I still plan on taking a picture of it even though I took it off my needles without it being finished. I'll probably frog the whole thing and find another pattern that doesn't take as much yarn.
The pattern I'm working on now is DW "Darrell Waltrip" pattern dishcloth. It's supposed to look really good with varigated yarn, and I've got lots of that. I'm only about 10 rows in, so I can't really tell. I'm going to bed after posting this. Finishing will have to wait.
